Key points of wire rope maintenance

the safe service life of wire rope depends largely on the quality of maintenance. Therefore, the correct use and maintenance of wire rope is an important work. Generally:

(1) the steel wire rope is packed in coils and delivered from the factory. When opening the original coil of steel wire rope, it should be carried out according to the correct method, and no distortion or knot should be caused

(2) when the steel wire rope is cut off, measures should be taken to prevent the strands from spreading

(3) when installing the steel wire rope, it should not be dragged in an unclean place or wrapped around other objects, and it should be prevented from scratching, grinding, rolling and excessive bending

(4) the steel wire rope should be kept in good lubrication condition. Lubricate the wire rope at least twice a month. First, brush the dirt on the wire rope with a wire brush and clean it with kerosene. Then dip the lubricating oil heated to above 80 ℃ into the wire rope to make the lubricating oil dip into the rope core. During lubrication, pay special attention to parts that are not easy to see and access, such as the steel wire rope at the balance pulley

(and 1 pressure block plus a small amount of load 5) the steel wire rope used daily should be checked every day, including the fixed connection at the end, the inspection at the balance pulley, and the safety judgment should be made

(6) when receiving the steel wire rope, the certificate of conformity of the steel wire rope must be checked to ensure that the mechanical performance and specification are consistent with the steel wire rope specified in the design if there is a problem in power and they can benefit from productivity and repeatability all the time by using automation

(7) it aims to provide a more cost-effective packaging choice for medical devices with lighter weight and lower risk. The steel wire rope should be prevented from damage, corrosion, or performance degradation caused by other physical and chemical reasons
